Mission Statement

This falls hunter pace will be an introductory pace to be followed by a series that we would like to run every season. We would like to bring a fun and exciting event to our fellow riders in northeastern Pennsylvania and surrounding areas. Whether you ride hunters, eventing, dressage, western, trail, or just out to have a good time - you will enjoy this event.

Our course is comprised of several jumps. Each jump has three options; a jump for intermediate riders, a jump for beginners riders, or just go around the jump. Please jump only what you and your horse are comfortable doing. The pace is only judged on time, the jumps are there for your enjoyment and are optional in all divisions.  The course will take you through open fields, wooded paths, up and down hills. There will be spots to walk, trot, and canter - pick your pace.  For those of you riding in the Trail division, just relax and enjoy the ride.  As an introductory pace the course is approximately 3 miles long. In the future longer courses will be available.

The pace will be ridden by a hunt master previous to the day of the hunter pace to establish a secret optimum time. The hunt master will ride the course as it should safely and enjoyably be ridden.

This hunter pace is also for spectators to enjoy. Spectators are welcome to walk out on course. But heads up! Horses have the right of way! Please be courteous to horses and riders and stay in open areas away form the jumps. We don’t want to spook the horses or riders.

For everyones enjoyment there will be various vendors on the grounds.
